The Winter Playground is open daily from 9am- 9pm, sits in the centre of downtown Bathurst and is home to the McDonald's Bathurst Ice Rink, the two-storey carousel, giant ferris wheel and all the wonder that the Bathurst Winter Festival has to offer.
Tickets to the carousel and ferris wheel and other carnival rides ($5 per person per ride) can be purchased in the Winter Playground at the main ticket stall during the festival.
COVID Update 26 June
Please note, per the announced changes, from 6pm the following mask regulation applies:
Masks will be compulsory in all indoor non-residential settings, including workplaces, and at organised outdoor events: as an organised outdoor event, this includes Armada Opening Night and the Winter Playground event area.

Dine & Discover Vouchers
Dine & Discover Vouchers can be used when purchasing the family ride tickets (two-storey carousel and giant Ferris wheel) from the Winter Playground ticket booth. Please note, Dine & Discover Vouchers cannot be used for ice skating as this owning company is a Victorian-owned firm and as such not an eligible business.

Cost: Free to enter. Family carnival ride tickets sold onsite during festival. Ice skating tickets on sale online and in the ice rink during the festival.
