Ways of Seeing is a participatory digital arts project that allows young residents of Bathurst (18 - 25 years) to contribute to the making of digital illuminations and projects as part of the 2019 Bathurst Winter Festival. Discover spaces and places to explore inner and outer worlds, both real and imagined to make digital illuminated self-portraits. Work with illumination designers ESEM Projects and renowned local media artists Henry Denyer-Simmons and Nicole Welch to develop, produce and present your work in the Keppel Street Illumination.

Collaborate, create and visualise your own narrative, learn how to make a moving digital self-portrait using projectioms, photography and video.

Participants will be selected to participate in a series of workshops with local artists to co-create a series of moving image self-portraits reflecting on identity and place in a tech world of flux and change.
