A feature of the Bathurst Winter Festival is outdoor ice skating, which was sponsored in 2021 by McDonald's and held on the McDonald's Bathurst Ice Rink.

Ice skating runs day and night - with sessions operating 9am - 9pm. 

Tickets for ice skating are sold through this webpage and we'll keep you posted closer to the festival on when tickets will go on sale. 

 Terms and Conditions

For reference, 2021 terms and conditions for ice skating were:

  • Children under 3 are NOT PERMITTED on the ice rink at any time.
  • Children 3 & 4 years of age MUST hire a Kanga Skating Aid and be accompanied on the ice by an adult at all times
  • Children under 7 years must be accompanied on the ice by an adult at all times
  • Children under 10 years of age MUST wear a helmet - Helmets are recommended for ALL patrons

Corporate Sessions

Each year we offer exclusive corporate ice skating sessions for purchase. There are only a limited number of these sessions made available and we encourage businsses to get in quick so they don’t miss out. Costs and session details will be advised closer to the festival dates. 

In 2021 McDonald's Bathurst proudly supported the McDonald's Bathurst Ice Rink.
