2 July & 3 July
Update: 29 June 2021 4pm
Yes it's On! Friday 2 July 4pm - 9pm and Saturday 3 July 12noon - 9pm
Great news! Brew & Bite will go ahead on Friday 2 July from 4pm-9pm and on Saturday 3 July 12pm - 9pm; however, things will look a little different in light of current COVID restrictions.
For all COVID festival information, please visit our COVID page.
Please note that face masks are compulsory for outdoor events, and must be worn in the Brew & Bite event area, which is now the Winter Playground in Kings Parade (not Machattie Park).
There is a set per person event capacity for Brew & Bite. Security will be present at the event check-in points and will live monitor attendee numbers for the Winter Playground during Brew & Bite to ensure numbers remain within the capacity limit, at any one time.
Many of the food vendors and entertainers we had planned to attend this signature event have had to return to their place of residence.
This means our signature event will have an awesome local feel.
Festival food will be centred on Church Street, along with local brews, wines (yes, this includes mulled wine!), ciders and gins.
Bathurst has some fantastic local food businesses - pubs, cafés, restaurants and take-aways - and all will be happy to have your support.
Book ahead and enjoy a great meal at a local venue, and don't forget your Dine vouchers.
Take some time to discover the Illumination Light Walk, then shimmy across and have fun at Brew & Bite.
a local business happy - don't forget your Dine & Discover Vouchers!
Local musicians, local street entertainment, local food. So many great reasons to rug up, head outdoors (bring your mask!) and get a kick out of winter.
Illuminations and Installations
Follow the Illumination Light Walk and you'll see all the light shows. There are 11 light shows to see on the walk, plus the and colouring wall and magical installations throughout Machattie Park. Find all the details on the illuminations and a map on the Illumination Light Walk page.
Food, wine, ales and more
We will still have food and drinks vendors at Brew & Bite, just reduced numbers of them and now all located on Church Street within the Winter Playground event area. Find your favourite flavours and sip your drinks (from a reusable sustainable festival cup, of course!). See list below (updated 29 June). Don't forget you can also support any number of Bathurst food venues around town - book ahead so you don't miss out.
