2025 FAQs

No, at the 19 March Ordinary Meeting, Bathurst Regional Council resolved to cancel the Bathurst Winter Festival for 2025 due to its current financial position.

However, while Council takes a step back from running the event, local businesses have collaborated to create a fresh, community-driven winter experience. A series of events will be independently hosted by venues around town, forming a 2025 ‘Winter in Bathurst’ program for locals and visitors to enjoy.

Highlights include:

• Relocation of the McDonald's Bathurst Ice Rink to The Greens on William
• Food and wine events
• A Winter Ball
• Country & western nights at Reckless Brewing Co

and so much more!

Bathurst Regional Council is not responsible for, nor has any involvement in the organisation, management, or operation of the events advertised, and they are not part of the former Bathurst Winter Festival.
